The methods used in organic cultivation are based on the principles of nature – production in harmony with nature as opposed to trying to dominate her.

Masseube was granted the first certification of organically harvested crops for its fruit in Patagonia in the country in 1992. (Issued by ARGENCERT S.R.L.-IFOAM Accredited.)

What is Organic?

The way in which crops are cultivated and processed without the use of agrochemicals (weed-killers, fungicides, pesticides) together with the rotation of plant species is known as Organic cultivation.

.In this way we look after and regenerate the soil’s health and fertility in the long term as well as the short.

The essence of this kind of sustainable   agriculture is that it is able to fulfill today’s needs while allowing for the opportunities in the future to be better.

What is Organic food?
 

Crops which have been cultivated organically and later processed to keep their nutritional value without adding any artificial conservatives or colouring is called organic food.  It is a very high quality product.

What is Certified Organic Production?

A private or Public organization verifies that the product has been produced according to the procedures and rules established by The Organic Production Norms in Argentina, Europe and USA.(ARGENCERT S.R.L. – IFOAM Accredited for example)  Any product labeled with this certification has been through this procedure
